On what kind of hardware was this run in real-time? Or was this just rendered with the engine at 1 or below 1 fps?

Wow. Thanks for a very funny technical demo with no military, firearms, swords, wizards or magic. Frankly, it's refreshing!

So... how does this real-time rendering work? Looks like a complete edited videoclip to me... 8)
BUT nicely done - and refreshing without heavy guns bloating about. Music is not my favorite though. Most in awe with the character animation! Good facial animation too. And all done in Unity... hmmm. Maya eat dust lol

I actually lol-ed three times when I watched the clip. It's very good. The timing of the jokes really worked well and the expression and reactions of the shocked protagonist and bystanders were well devised and animated.

I will show this to the students I have been introducing to Unity3d. It's inspirational and clearly demonstrates the power of the engine and what can be achieved with creativity and hard work.

Movie quality real time rendering.
The guys at Unity should be very proud of what they have achieved.

DO they use a cluster GPU like Unreal Engine's project samaritan or is this just a single GPU?

Very nice.

Before any other fools ask what rigs were used in an effort to sound like a seasoned pro, read the description.
